About Us
Greg
“I’m a Bay Area native who joined the Army and met my future wife, Doris, while I was stationed in Germany. We returned to California to raise our three boys, and we’ve lived in Point Reyes since 1974.
“I love to build and fix things, and keep myself busy with repairs and improving the property. I also love to travel and play music. I’m an artist and you’ll see many of my paintings throughout the cottages.”

“I love to garden, whether it’s food, flowers or herbs. I’ve cultivated a beautiful organic vegetable garden, and I delight in sharing its bounty with guests. When I’m not in the garden, I’m making jams, knitting, quilting, baking or cooking.
“It’s our pleasure to welcome you to our cottages, and to share the astonishing natural beauty, peace and serenity of Point Reyes with visitors from near and far.”
“You made us feel very at home in your beautiful cottage. We so enjoyed coming back here after our hikes in Pt Reyes — last night after wearing the kids out on some very long hikes, after which they went to bed early, we enjoyed the hot tub, a glass of wine on the patio, a gourmet dinner we cooked together, and watching the meteor shower from the back yard. Heaven!” Barbara & William Tips… more…
“Thank you for the lovely stay in your hideaway. What could be a better way to celebrate 60 years than to sit in the lounge chair, watching the hummingbirds zoom in for a drink? Not to mention the sweet little nest above the door. You have provided a respite for the weary, all the comforts of home without the worries! And the best blackberry jam I’ve ever tasted…” Greg & Laura Tips from your hosts,… more…
“Hiking, the Lighthouse, drinks at the Saloon, Sonoma & Napa, it was all fantastic. The goodies for breakfast were amazing and many became part of our picnics for lunch. We will be back now that we have discovered this wonderful place.” Dana & Merie Tips from your hosts, Greg & Doris We have two bars in downtown Point Reyes Station — The Western Saloon and Station House Cafe. “This has been our most exceptional visit to Point Reyes ever. We recommend the 13 mile Wonderland Valley Loop. We brought groceries and enjoyed eating at the Bungalow with the wood stove, cut flowers and hot tub as wonderful additions. We could not ask for or imagine a more fantastic experience in such a soulful place with such lovely hosts. We will be savoring the delightful baked goods and experiences for a long time.” Marcy… more…
“Thank you so much for your hospitality. We enjoyed seeing the natural wonders of Pt Reyes, but just as much– if not more, we we enjoyed your very lovely cottage — the hot tub and fragrant patios. Dinners at Stellina and sandwiches for a picnic from Cowgirl Creamery were a wonderful treat!” Paul & Terry Tips from your hosts, Greg & Doris The best places to stock your picnic basket are Palace Market, Side Street… more…
“A wonderful few days exploring the Point Reyes National Seashore. The house is lovely and we talked many times about returning for a longer stay. Really enjoyed hikes to see the Tule Elk at the Point, hikes to elephant seals and along the Estero to beaches. Cooked 3 dinners in the lovely well stocked kitchen. Thank you for a relaxing stay.” Kimberly & Steffan Tips from your hosts, Greg and Doris The best place to… more…
